Communications

The main campus, the medical center and accompanying clinics, various faculty/staff residential communities, and student residence halls all provide in-house business and residential telephone, cable TV, and Internet service.

Telephone Services for Faculty and Staff

For academics and staff who want telephone service. ICT provides a number of advanced features, including the ability to relocate your phone from one office to another within the same building without needing to contact for service. Converged Communication is a simpler business strategy that streamlines ordering and billing

Video Conferencing

ICT video conferencing options include online solutions to host and join video conferencing meetings and onsite solutions to create your own meeting room, get technical support for your meeting room, or get technical support and equipment for a video conferencing event.

The zoom service, ICT recommended video conferencing tool, lets you schedule, host, and attend video conferencing meetings.

Email & Calendar

University faculty and staff receive free @nutech email accounts. Google Apps provides NUTECH Email and Calendar service for undergraduate students and departments.

G Suite

G Suite provides faculty, staff, and students with access to Google document management, groups, and sites. Undergraduate students who already have Google mail accounts, plus some schools and departments, can access their @ nutech email and calendar via G Suite.

Phishing Awareness Service

The Phishing Awareness Service uses simulated phishing emails to train participants to recognize, report, and avoid phishing attacks. The service is available to eligible groups upon request.

Digital Printing services

ICT Digital Printing is a managed print services program at NUTECH that lets you securely print, copy, and scan documents

Account and Access

Account, access, and authority systems and services protect NUTECH information resources. Services in this category include Web Login and Two-Step Authentication, ID Card, and more.

Computing accounts and passwords control access to online resources and services at NUTECH. These accounts are free of charge for faculty, staff, students. Sponsored accounts are available for some University affiliates and guests.

Accounts and Passwords

The University provides faculty, staff, and students a variety of computing resources and online services. A ID (an account name that identifies you as a member of the Stanford community) and password is required to access most of these services.

VPN

To facilitate faculty, approved research students and administrative staff, Off-Campus Virtual Private Network (VPN) has been established for access to HEC Digital Library (DL) resources and to search/locate books through OPAC, NIMS, Clinic, and staging. These resources can be accessed even from outside of the NUTECH University as well.
