UG Programs

The design of the undergraduate programs at the Mechanical Engineering Department would help students to acquire technical knowledge, intellectual abilities and skills needed for the cutting-edge of technology. The undergraduate engineering degree from the Mechanical Engineering Department represents not only a specified number of credit hours/units and a collection of subjects but also demands an intense involvement in academic enterprise and an immersion in the culture of NUTECH. The bachelor degree program consists of regular engineering subjects and the students are also required complete the Experiential Learning Programs namely:

  • Industrial Learning Experience Program (ILEP) every year for four years
  • Four weeks Industrial and Creative Activity Term (ICAT) every year for four years
  • NUTECH Learning Communities Program (NLCP) in first year
  • NUTECH Career Acceleration Program (NCAP) in second year
  • NUTECH Engineering Leadership Program (NELP) in third year
  • Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP) in third and fourth year
