Orientation day for prospective students who have registered for Fall-2019 session was held on 30 June, 2019 at NUTECH. A large number of students alongwith their parents attended the event. The purpose of this orientation visits was to give an opportunity to new students to explore university campus, see its facilities and interact with faculty. The Rector along with the faculty welcomed the students and their parents. Orientation session commenced with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a presentation by the Registrar who briefed the students about university's vision, concept, mission and education programs. On this occasion, Rector highlighted that NUTECH was built with the vision to create leaders of technology and leaders of industry who can create, innovate and implement technologies. After the briefings in auditorium, students visited NUTECH campus, classrooms and labs. Students appreciated the university infrastructure and showed keen interest to join NUTECH.

Representative from Embassy of France, Sebastien Cartier and Professor El Hadj Dogheche from Institut d Electronique, de Microelectronique et de Nanotechnologie alongwith NAVTTC team visited NUTECH on 17th June, 2019. Director NSDD (NUTECH Skill and Development Directorate) Nadeem Khalid briefed the delegation about university's skill development program. Both the parties agreed that universities should promote and play their role in creating pathways for industry linkage. The delegation showed keen interest in future collaboration on vocational and technical skills development education and a generic agreement in the form of an MOU with NUTECH. After the briefing and discussions, the delegates visited university's auditorium and CTTI labs. At the end, Director NSDD presented souvenirs to the delegation as a memento of their visit to NUTECH.
