NUTECH Academic Vision and NUTECH Quality Management System (NQMS) highlight need for establishment of a comprehensive system of regular academic audit, review, upgrade and improvement of learning, teaching and all tiers of knowledge system on the lines of best practices adopted by leading international academic institutions.


Role of NUTECH Quality Assurance Department (NUQAD) is to enhance quality standards of various processes associated with all tiers of knowledge eco-system of NUTECH while ensuring conformity with the HEC policies, best international practices and requirements of regulatory bodies.


Major functions of NUTECH Quality Assurance Department (NUQAD) are listed below:-

  • Promote public confidence that overall quality standards of knowledge being imparted and processes being followed are safeguarded through compliance with the HEC and Regulatory bodies’ policies.
  • Review of quality standards dealing with academic and non-academic processes of the University.
  • Formulate NQMS policy framework for implementation of policy guidelines and directives issued by HEC Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and other regulatory bodies.
  • Review of academic affiliations with other institutions in terms of compatibility with the laid down policy guidelines.
  • Ensure that targets/milestones assigned by QAA are accomplished according the timelines and laid down procedures.
  • Develop procedures for the following:-
    • Self-Assessment of ongoing academic programs/initiatives in accordance with laid down policies.
    • Conduct of Institutional Performance Evaluation as per HEC QAA timelines.
    • Conduct of feedback surveys and present its analysis to the senior management.
    • Preparation and timely submission of Yearly Progress Report (YPR), University Portfolio Report (UPR), Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) etc in coordination with other stakeholders.
    • Conduct of Departmental/Program/Subject reviews, as applicable.
