Inception

Planning is key for the sustainable development of any organization. Directorate of Planning & Development brings the strategic academic targets to reality. Directorate of Planning & Development aims to develop infrastructure and allied facilities at par with national and international standard, enable university to achieve standards at par with the top ranked universities.

Working closely with Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiative, Higher Education Commission and all stake holders being able to successfully managed development projects, required for academic growth and sustainability of the university.

  • Identification & Formulation of Development Projects
  • Prepare & Process Feasibility Study in coordination with all stake holders / end users
  • Prepare & Process PC-I for Approval of Competent Forum
  • Coordination with concerned ministries and HEC
  • Act as Nucleolus for Project Monitoring & Implementation
  • Preparation of Quarterly / Annual Progress Report

  • Process Government Approvals

Current Development Plans

  • Currently P&D is working to develop infrastructure and allied facilities to support expansion of academics and R&D activities as per GoP, HEC and university vision.
  • With the support of the GoP, most suitable 300 acres land along with M-2 motorway with terminal services and convenient accessibility from surrounding population Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Wah Cantt, Attock, Hasanabdal, Swabi, Haripur, Fateh Jhang, Chakwal, Kallar Seydan, Mandra, Gujjar Khan, Sohawa, and Jhelum has been acquired.  
  • A purpose built smart campus of NUTECH is being developed in phases at 300 acres recently acquired land to meet current and future requirements in line with GoP / HEC (higher education sector policy) and academic vision of the university.
  • Renowned Consultancy firm has been hired for Master planning and Designing of main campus. Zoning / Master planning and Architectural design of Academic infrastructure has been finalized.
