About Administration Office

National University of Technology (NUTECH), administration Office is one of the central support service departments. The Administration provides support for the academic as well as administrative components of the University with a range of services to include health of safety, security, janitorial, transport, Hygiene & sanitation, boarding lodging. This office is managed by the Director Administration under Pro Rector. We aim to provide a committed and professional service which will be recognized as exemplary by its users, behaving in an approachable and courteous way, being well-informed in the present and aware of developments to come, seeking always to address the heart of the matter with integrity and honesty, and giving accurate information and consistent, fair advice. We aim to foster a spirit of team working, valuing open communication and all constructive contributions, and respecting all participants as individuals aiming to provide an ideal administrative environment.  Our office, through a uniform application of policies operations the core

student-related administrative system, to contribute in smooth functioning of the University. Whether in examination arrangements or admissions, or any excursion, visits, seminar, symposiums, under travel visits   other assigned functions, we try to take account of every possible needs, while seeing these in the context of a NUTECH aiming to achieve and maintain a respectable standard.

  • Student Cafe

The student café is an important place that provides students with a friendly and productive environment. It not only offers excellent food and beverage services but also provides an opportunity to relax and socialize. High-quality food, affordable prices, and comfortable seating are its key features. Students work on assignments, engage in group discussions, and spend quality time with friends here. Free Wi-Fi and charging facilities are additional benefits that support students' educational needs. Cleanliness and a hygienic environment are maintained as permanent standards. The café staff is known for their hospitality and prompt service. This place helps students strike a balance between academic and non-academic activities. The student café is not just a dining spot but a small community that promotes positivity and collaboration.

  • Day Care Center

A daycare center is a safe and nurturing space designed to care for children while their parents are at work or engaged in other responsibilities. It provides a structured environment where children can learn, play, and grow under the supervision of trained staff. These centers offer age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development. With facilities like play areas, nap zones, and nutritious meals, daycare centers ensure the overall well-being of children. They foster creativity and learning through interactive sessions, storytelling, and educational games. Parents trust daycare centers for their safety measures, cleanliness, and professional staff.   • Dedicated Bank (HBL)

A dedicated HBL Bank branch offers specialized financial services tailored to meet customer needs efficiently. It provides a wide range of services, including account management, loans, investments, and digital banking facilities, ensuring convenience and accessibility. With a customer-centric approach, the bank prioritizes personalized assistance through professional and friendly staff. Modern infrastructure and advanced technology make transactions secure and hassle-free. Dedicated HBL branches often cater to specific communities, ensuring localized solutions and financial inclusivity. These branches maintain strict security measures to protect customer information and assets. They also support businesses by offering corporate banking services and expert financial advice. HBL’s focus on innovation is evident through its user-friendly mobile app and online banking platforms. Regular feedback systems enhance customer satisfaction and service quality. A dedicated HBL Bank branch embodies reliability, trust, and excellence in banking services.

  • Medical Facility

The medical support structure of the facility is well-organized to ensure timely and effective healthcare services. A dedicated Medical Inspection (MI) Room serves as the central hub for primary care and medical evaluations. The staff includes a female doctor to provide medical consultations and treatments, supported by a male nurse for patient care and assistance. To address emergencies, the facility is equipped with two ambulances for quick patient transport. Additionally, first aid boxes are strategically placed in key locations, including the Administration Block (Level-3 and Ground Floor), the Reception Area of the Academic Block, the Boys Hostel, and the Girls Hostel. This setup ensures that medical assistance and first aid are readily available across all critical areas, promoting the safety and well-being of all individuals within the facility.

  • Faculty Cafe

The facility is designed to provide a comfortable and modern environment with central air conditioning, tiled flooring, and adequate lighting for an enhanced ambiance. It maintains a clean and hygienic internal and external environment. The space is equipped with two 65-inch TVs for entertainment or presentations and has a seating capacity of 250 people, making it ideal for large gatherings. A separate kitchen fitted with modern equipment ensures efficient food preparation, with arrangements to keep food warm or cool, including ban-marries, coffee machines, and water filter coolers. Additionally, a mezzanine floor is designated for visiting teams, offering privacy and convenience. This facility ensures functionality and comfort for various activities and events.

  • Alkhawarzmi Hostel

The facility offers a comfortable and well-equipped living environment with a capacity for 260 residents. Each room is furnished with a bed and bedding, along with a study table and chair to support academic activities. Residents have access to WiFi for uninterrupted connectivity and benefit from enhanced security with CCTV cameras installed throughout the premises. Additional amenities include messing and laundry services, recreational options such as table tennis and a gym, and room coolers during the summer for added comfort. The facility also features community washrooms (36 in total) and ensures uninterrupted power supply with a generator backup. This setup provides a balanced combination of convenience, comfort, and safety for all residents.

  • Girls Hostel

The rented house facility, with a capacity of 85 residents, is designed to provide a comfortable and secure living environment. Each room is furnished with beds and bedding, as well as a study table and chair to support academic needs. Residents enjoy WiFi connectivity and have access to messing services through a contractor along with a kitchen facility for meal preparation. The facility ensures comfort with room coolers in summer and heating arrangements in winter, while attached washrooms add convenience. Security is prioritized with a CCTV system and a security guard on duty, complemented by a generator backup for uninterrupted power supply. Additional amenities include a washing machine and limited recreational facilities, ensuring a balanced and supportive environment for residents.

  • Sports Facility

The sports facility is an essential part of promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and recreation. It includes state-of-the-art infrastructure for various sports activities such as football, basketball, cricket, and tennis. The facility features well-maintained playgrounds, courts, and tracks suitable for both training and competitive matches. Additionally, it offers a gymnasium equipped with modern fitness equipment to support strength and conditioning. The sports facility is staffed by qualified coaches who provide training sessions and organize sports events. It provides opportunities for students and members to engage in extracurricular activities, fostering discipline and collaboration. With adequate seating areas for spectators and proper lighting, the facility ensures a safe and enjoyable experience. Modern amenities like restrooms and changing rooms add convenience for athletes. It hosts inter-school and community tournaments, promoting healthy competition. The sports facility encourages an active lifestyle and overall well-being.

  • Staff Canteen

The facility is established in the NUTECH MT area and is dedicated exclusively to NUTECH staff. It offers three meals a day at an affordable rate of Rs. 5800 per month, ensuring the staff's nutritional needs are met efficiently. This initiative reflects NUTECH's commitment to providing quality services and support to its employees by maintaining a convenient and well-organized dining option.

•    Transport Facility

The transportation system covers multiple routes to ensure accessibility for students, staff, and NSDD members. Route 1 (Askari 14) serves 63 students and 2 staff members, with no NSDD members, totaling 65 individuals. Route 2 (T-Chowk) accommodates 72 students, 11 staff members, and no NSDD members, reaching a total of 83. Route 3 (Wah Cantt) serves 35 students, 43 staff members, and 1 NSDD member, with a total of 79 individuals. The Islamabad Route caters to 9 students and 2 staff members, with no NSDD members, totaling 11. In total, the transportation system serves 179 students, 58 staff members, and 1 NSDD member, bringing the grand total to 238 individuals across all routes.

The fee structure is defined for different categories of students and staff to ensure transparency and affordability. UG students are charged Rs. 27,600 per semester, while NSDD students pay Rs. 4,600 per month. For staff members, the monthly charges are Rs. 4,500 for those based in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, while staff in Wah Cantt are charged Rs. 5,000 per month. This tiered fee system accommodates the varying needs of students and staff across different locations.

  • Security Infrastructure

The facility is equipped with 356 CCTV cameras and a fully operational and well-equipped control room to ensure comprehensive surveillance and security. The main gate is jointly manned by CTTI and NUTECH staff, enhancing coordination and safety. Advanced security systems such as RFID systems and SVAS are in place to monitor and control access. The control room is equipped with an alarm system and sound system for efficient emergency response. Additionally, walkie-talkies have been issued to staff members to ensure seamless communication across the premises. This integrated security setup ensures the safety and smooth functioning of the entire facility.

  • Hotriculture

The horticulturist oversees the maintenance of lawns through a team of skilled gardeners. Lawns are watered twice a day during the summer season and once a day in winter using water bazaars. Seasonal flower and ground cover preparations are carried out in the nursery, ensuring the campus remains aesthetically appealing throughout the year. Indoor plants have been installed at various locations to enhance greenery and create a soothing environment. A total of 12,000 ornamental plants and 450 trees have been planted across the campus, contributing to its lush and green landscape. Additionally, a firefighting system has been installed to ensure safety and emergency preparedness across the premises.

  • Fire Fighting System

The facility is equipped with a comprehensive fire safety system to ensure the safety of all occupants. The fire alarm system is activated and monitored by the control room or exchange operator, ensuring quick response in case of emergencies. Dry chemical powder (FE DCP) is strategically placed on every floor for effective fire suppression. Additionally, water hydrants with canvas pipes are installed at key locations for efficient firefighting. A fire crash tender and water bazar are available to support emergency response. The campus also features underground water tanks and overhead tanks, ensuring a reliable water supply for firefighting and daily use. This multi-faceted approach enhances the safety and preparedness of the entire facility.
