The mission of NUTECH Skills Development Department (NSDD) is to develop the capacity of Pakistani Youth in vocational and technical training fields in order to maximize their hands-on practical skills and knowledge. .

DG Skills Message

"NUTECH is a federally charted technology University which covers all the eight levels of education as per National Qualification Framework i.e. from basic skills to doctorate level. Level 1-5, which is generally referred as TVET, is being taken care of Skills Development Department. I feel honoured to head this Department as Director General. TVET is considered as most effective pathway for an efficient employability of skilled workforce for national industry. Pakistan labour workforce needs to be equipped with latest skills to cope up with the pace of fast changing technology and meet challenges of Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0). The purpose of establishment of NUTECH is to prepare “technologist and skilled workforce” for our Industry and to equip Pakistani youth with the “Skills of Tomorrow” like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things and the likes. It gives me immense pleasure to invite all citizens specially the vibrant youth to join NUTECH to skill, re-skill and upskill themselves and commence a happy journey of professionals like freelancers and entrepreneurs."
