- Design and deploy new network solutions including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, NW servers, routers, firewalls, load balancers hubs, switches, UPSs, and other hardware and/or improving the efficiency of current networks within data center and university campus.
- Maximize network performance by Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching configuration, monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network consultant vendors on network optimization.
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies through International Certifications for established Security Standards and defining and monitoring NW access control and collaborating with other ICT teams to develop and implement network security measures.
- Carry Out first party Audit of University NW on regular basis and apprise senior management about its status and recommend any upgradation of security systems, processes, or policies.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving hardware, software, and other issues affecting the network and devices. Running operations for disaster recovery and backups of NW data where possible through implementation of ICT DR & BCP Policy.
