Dr. Maria Kanwal earned her Ph.D. from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, where she also completed her MS in Software Engineering. She obtained her BS degree from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, where she was awarded a Gold Medal for her exceptional academic performance.
Dr. Maria Kanwal is an active and dedicated member of the department, actively engaged in both academics and research. She has published five journal articles in HEC-recognized W/X category journals. She is also an HEC approved Ph.D supervisor. She has reviewed numerous research papers for international journals, showcasing her expertise and commitment to the academic community. Her research interests include image processing, machine learning, deep learning, and software engineering.
