NUTECH is a Shining Star to Lead Future Technology and Skills Education in Balochistan says Ms Rahila Durrani, Provincial Minister of Education Balochistan

The National University of Technology (NUTECH) had the distinct honor of hosting Ms. Rahila Hameed Durrani, Minister for Colleges, Higher & Technical Education, Balochistan. The esteemed guest was warmly received by Rector NUTECH Lt Gen Moazzam Ejaz, HI (M) Retd. Ms. Durrani commended NUTECH’s unique educational model and said that I exclusively came here to open new windows for Balochistan technical education.During the discussion, NUTECH leadership proposed the introduction of new TVET programs and prepare Master trainers and assessors for all the institutes of Balochistan at TVET institute Quetta with the collaboration of all stake holders. The university was ready to take charge of one of the leading TVET Institute at Quetta and to convert it into the model Center of Excellence. NUTECH Offered to affiliate all TVET Institutes of Balochistan in upcoming 2 – 3 years. NUTECH has shown positive and deliberate approach for the economic uplift of the local people of Gwadar, and as a CPEC project Chinese TVET institute can play a vital role in it. NUTECH will introduce Hi- Tech courses to contribute towards the blue economy and as well as export of skilled work force overseas. Ms Rahila Durrani highly appreciated the generous offer of NUTECH to uplift TVET Education in Balochistan in near future.

During the meeting, Rector NUTECH, Lt Gen Moazzam Ejaz, highlighted the university’s commitment to delivering a comprehensive education experience. “At NUTECH, we believe in the power of technical education to transform not only the individual but the nation as a whole. Ms. Rahila Hameed Durrani, Minister for Colleges, Higher & Technical Education, Balochistan, had visited various departments of the university, paying particular attention to the Skills Development Department, where she showed keen interest in the hands-on training programs offered to students. Rector NUTECH presented a souvenir to Ms. Rahila Hameed Durrani Minister for Colleges, Higher & Technical Education, Balochistan, the event underscored the mutual commitment of NUTECH and the Government of Balochistan to strengthening education systems and enhancing opportunities for students in the technical and vocational sectors.
