German Ambassador Alfred Grannas Visit (NUTECH) Islamabad Pakistan’s First University for Industry

His Excellency Ambassador Alfred Grannas of Germany, accompanied by a four-member delegation, visited the National University of Technology (NUTECH) Islamabad today. The distinguished guest was warmly received by Rector NUTECH Lt. Gen. Moazzam Ejaz, HI (M) (Retd.), along with the university’s senior leadership, including the Pro-Rector NORIC, Pro-Rector Skills, Pro-Rector P&R.

The visit commenced with a comprehensive briefing from the Rector of NUTECH, highlighting the university’s academic achievements, innovative programs, and research initiatives. Ambassador Grannas was apprised of NUTECH’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry through its diverse educational offerings, particularly in the field of technology and skills development.

Discussions between the Ambassador and the NUTECH leadership focused on matters of mutual interest, including the export of skilled manpower, faculty and student exchange programs, and the strengthening of ties between Germany and Pakistan in education and technology. Following the briefing, Ambassador Grannas and his delegation toured several state-of-the-art facilities at NUTECH, including the Skills Department (NSDD), NEIC, and the university’s renowned Center of Excellence and Laboratories.
