American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Student Branch Successfully Conduct Two-Days Event “ASME NUTECH MANIA” at National University of Technology (NUTECH)

Dec 23, 2025

ASME Student Branch has been formally established at the NUTECH under the Mechanical Engineering Department, marking a significant milestone in strengthening student engagement with modern engineering practices, technological innovation, and professional development. The initiative aims to provide students with exposure to global engineering standards while fostering technical competence, leadership, and collaborative learning.

To commemorate the establishment, the NUTECH ASME Student Branch successfully organized its inaugural two-day event, “ASME NUTECH MANIA,” held on December 23–24, 2025. The event featured an orientation session on ASME’s mission and global impact, followed by diverse technical, recreational, and competitive activities, including engineering challenges and team-based competitions. The second day showcased “Cars and Coffee,” NUTECH’s first-ever auto car show, offering participants hands-on exposure to automotive engineering, design innovation, and emerging industry trends.

The successful event underscores NUTECH’s commitment to experiential learning and the development of industry-relevant skills aligned with international engineering benchmarks.
