Chairman HEC and Federal Secretary for Education, Mr. Nadeem Mahbub, accompanied by Executive Director HEC Mr. Zia-ul-Haq, visited NUTECH to review its academic and industry-oriented initiatives. During the visit, the HEC delegation was briefed on NUTECH’s distinctive role as a “University for Industry”, its comprehensive educational programs, applied research initiatives, industry-driven learning model, international collaborations and ongoing industrial projects. The briefing highlighted the University’s strategic focus on aligning education with national industrial and technological needs.
Later, the delegation visited NUTECH’s state-of-the-art laboratories, the NUTECH Innovation Center (NIC), and the NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC), gaining firsthand insight into the University’s practical, innovation-led approach to higher education. The visit reaffirmed HEC’s support for NUTECH’s mission to deliver industry-relevant education while strengthening national efforts towards innovation-driven higher education.
