Federal Education Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Visits National University of Technology (NUTECH)

Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Ms. Wajiha Qamar, accompanied by Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Rabia Naseem Farooqi, visited NUTECH to review the University’s academic and innovative ecosystem. Rector NUTECH, Engr. Moazaam Ejaz, welcomed the delegation and briefed them on NUTECH’s role as a “University for Industry,” highlighting its academic programs, applied research, international collaborations, and industry-driven learning model. The briefing emphasized NUTECH’s commitment to aligning education with national industrial and technological priorities to develop a skilled and future-ready workforce. 

Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Ms. Wajiha Qamar appreciated the University’s practical, industry-oriented approach and acknowledged its significant potential. Later, the delegation also visited NUTECH’s state-of-the-art laboratories, NUTECH’s Skills and Development Department (NSDD), the NUTECH Innovation Center (NIC), and the NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC).
