Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) Panel Visits

National University of Technology (NUTECH) conducted its Second Self Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) on 29 – 31 Mar 2022 as per the annual targets given by Higher Education Commission Quality Assurance Agency (HEC QAA). IPE panel comprised of one External Reviewer, Prof. Dr. Ali Sajid, TI, Director Lahore School of Management and three Internal Reviewers including Brig Taimur Baig (Director NUQAD), Lt Col Dr. Nauman Razzak (HOD Electrical Department) and Dr. Muhammad Rashid (HOD Computer Science Department). Prof. Dr. Ali Sajid was received warmly at NUTECH. A detailed briefing on NUTECH was given by Registrar Brig Dr.Syed Adnan Qasim. He was taken for a visit of the university by Brig Dr Muhammad Almas Anjum. Later, IPE panel led by Prof. Dr. Ali Sajid (TI) undertook detailed review/ assessment of various offices and departments. Necessary details pertaining to management, HR, academic programs, accreditation, infrastructure and facilities available to students were shared with the panel by respective Directors and HODs. Quality improvement aspects of ongoing undergraduate programs (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Engineering and Computer Science) were deliberated in detail. IPE panel also interacted with the faculty and students. External reviewer greatly appreciated the commitment of NUTECH senior management. He was highly satisfied with the functioning of different organs of NUTECH academic system. He highlighted importance of the teacher’s role towards personality development of the students and urged upon all stakeholders to work for   further improvement and strengthening of the university academic and support systems.
