An Iraqi delegation, headed by Mr. Safaa Hussein Ahmed Al Sammarraie Director General of Department of Immigration Affairs (Ministry of Migration and Displacement, MoMD) along with senior officials visited NUTECH. The delegation was briefed on the NUTECH role as a “University for Industry”, highlighting its academic programs, innovative skills development model and international collaborations with institutions in Finland, China and Japan.
Mr. Safaa Hussein Ahmed Al Sammarraie commended NUTECH’s contribution to equipping youth with those technical skills aligned with the demands of the modern technological era. He expressed a keen interest in exploring future joint educational partnerships and initiatives between NUTECH and Iraqi educational institutions and Universities.
Later, the Iraqi delegation visited Skills Development Department, Skills Labs, NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC).This visit marks a significant step toward potential academic and technical cooperation, with promising opportunities for knowledge exchange and capacity building between NUTECH and Iraqi institutions in the near future.
