Kashmir Solidarity Day Observed at National University of Technology (NUTECH)

NUTECH observed Kashmir Solidarity Day to reaffirm unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and to highlight their struggle for the right to self-determination. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and University officials. Students delivered insightful speeches on the Kashmir issue, shedding light on its historical background and ongoing human rights violations. A Nazm titled “Kashmir Bleeds”, along with emotionally charged poetry recitations, powerfully portrayed the pain, resilience, and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people.The program also featured a thematic song and a skit, creatively depicting the hardships faced by Kashmiris and conveying a strong message of unity, hope, and resistance against oppression. These performances reflected the students’ awareness and commitment to advocating justice through peaceful and intellectual expression.

The Kashmir Day concluded with a Kashmir Solidarity Walk within the University premises. Students carried placards and raised slogans to express unity and solidarity with the Kashmiri people. NUTECH remains committed to promoting national awareness, ethical responsibility, and meaningful engagement on the Kashmir issue, along with other matters of regional and global importance.
