A four-member delegation of the ABAD, led by Senior Vice Chairman Mr. Syed Afzal Hameed, visited NUTECH and signed a Letter of Intent to jointly sponsor the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BET) program in Civil Technology (Batch Fall 2025). The program marks a significant step toward strengthening collaboration between academia and the construction industry to produce skilled, industry-ready graduates.
Under the agreement, ABAD and NUTECH will jointly support selected students of the BET Civil Technology program. The partnership also ensures extensive industry exposure through on-site training, internships at construction projects in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and surrounding areas. Additionally, a structured post-graduation service commitment will be implemented to align graduates’ skills with industry needs, reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to sustainable human resource development in the construction sector. Later, the delegation visited technology and skills labs, the E-Commerce Centre of Excellence and the NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC)
The NUTECH and ABAD collaboration marks a significant step toward strengthening academia-industry linkages and developing skilled human capital for Pakistan’s construction sector.
