On 9th September, Octave Tech Solutions (OTS) hosted an International Summit on Redefining Digital Manufacturing: Concept-to-Product held at Shamadan Hall, Serena Hotel, Islamabad. The occasion was graced by the esteemed Federal Ministers Mr. Rana Tanveer Hussain (Minister for National Food Security & Research) and Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, (Federal Minister Planning, Development & Special Initiatives and Inter-Provincial Coordination), as chief guests. They were joined by Eng. Moazzam Ejaz Rector of the National University of Technology (NUTECH), who delivered the keynote address. In his speech he underscored the vital importance of academia-industry linkages, he emphasized the importance of integrating digital technologies into the product development life cycle and commended OTS’s pioneering contributions in the field of digital manufacturing, lauding its role in advancing Pakistan’s technological and industrial frontiers.
As a strategic initiative National University of Technology (NUTECH) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Octave Technology Solutions (OTS) to foster Human Resource Development and working towards establishing state-of-the-art Human Recourse Development Centre, equipped with digital manufacturing solutions. This collaboration marks a pivotal milestone in advancing digital manufacturing capabilities and strengthening Pakistan’s technological ecosystem.
The MoU also establishes a framework for collaboration between NUTECH and OTS to promote joint research, technological innovation and knowledge exchange in the domain of digital manufacturing. This partnership is designed to support the development of smart manufacturing capabilities and prepare a future-ready workforce equipped with Industry 4.0 skills.
