National University of Technology (NUTECH) and Saylani Welfare International Trust (SWIT) Signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Skill Development and Global Employability

A delegation led by Founder and Chairman of SWIT, Karachi, Mr. Bashir Ahmed Polani, visited the NUTECH for the signing of a MoU aimed at promoting skill development, certification, and enhancing the international employability of Pakistani youth through joint initiatives.

Under the MoU, both institutions will collaborate to expand overseas employment opportunities by facilitating the export of skilled manpower in accordance with international labor market requirements. As part of the agreement, NUTECH will provide affiliation to Saylani Vocational and Technical Institutes, ensuring that certifications and assessments are aligned with international standards to support global recognition and employability. The collaboration also includes the joint establishment of training centers, where NUTECH will provide technical guidance related to curriculum, accreditation, and quality assurance, while SWIT will manage infrastructure, operations, and outreach. Additionally, both parties will jointly organize Skill Expos and Career Fairs nationwide, inviting representatives from embassies, overseas employers, and international industry partners.

The initiative reflects NUTECH’s continued commitment to developing a globally competitive skilled workforce and supporting national socio-economic development.
