The Green Youth Movement Club at the NUTECH, under the supervision of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), successfully organized Green Week from 29 December 2025 to 2 January 2026. The initiative brought together five student-led clubs i.e Fine Arts & Creativity Club, Media Club, Drama Club, Community Service Club, and Adventure Club, to increase environmental awareness and sustainable practices across the campus.
The five-day program featured a wide range of activities, including eco-themed stalls, plantation drives, upcycled art and décor exhibitions, eco-bricks projects, drama and musical performances, and interactive media engagements. Key highlights included a winter clothes donation drive, photography competitions, an educational visit to the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC), an Inter-Department Cleaning Competition involving all academic and administrative departments, a Decarbonization Day with active participation from students, faculty, and staff, and a concluding community cleaning drive at F-9 Park, Islamabad.
Through these initiatives, Green Week reinforced NUTECH’s commitment to environmental stewardship, encouraging the university community to adopt practical sustainability measures and contribute toward a greener and more sustainable future.
