The Professional Development Center (PDC) at the NUTECH organized a two-day professional workshop titled “Contract Management Essentials” on 19–20 January 2026 at the University’s Main Conference Room. The workshop brought together 33 professional from public, private, and semi-government organizations, providing a focused platform for strengthening professional skills in modern contract management. The training was facilitated by Col Basit Siddiqui (Retd), a seasoned subject-matter expert with extensive practical experience.
To enhance the effectiveness of the program, AVM Asim Rasheed Malick (Retd) participated at the invitation of PDC and shared real-world experiences from major national defense projects, offering participants practical insights into contract execution and implementation challenges. The interactive sessions enabled participants to develop a deeper understanding of contract formulation, execution, and decision-making, while equipping them with practical strategies to improve project performance, efficiency, and organizational outcomes.
The concluding session was chaired by the Pro-Rector (NORIC), who highlighted NUTECH’s academic and research initiatives and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to professional development. Participants highly appreciated the quality and relevance of the workshop and acknowledged NUTECH’s continued efforts in capacity building and industry-oriented training.
