National University of Technology (NUTECH) Organized Five-Day Workshop on Crime Scene Management and Forensics

NUTECH organized a five-day training workshop on Crime Scene Management and Forensics from January 26 to 30, 2026, aimed at strengthening professional capabilities in forensic sciences and crime scene investigation.

At the opening session, a welcome address was delivered by the Pro-Rector (Skills) and the Director Policy Implementation and Evaluation (PI&E), highlighting NUTECH’s commitment to capacity building, skills development, and the promotion of applied and industry-relevant education. Ms. Aisha Wasif Bashir, a Crime Scene Management and Forensics expert conducted the workshop. The training encompassed both theoretical and practical dimensions of crime scene management, including evidence identification, collection, preservation, documentation, and the application of scientific techniques in forensic investigations.

Upon successful completion of the workshop, certificates were distributed among the participants during the closing ceremony. The event concluded with an appreciation of the trainer’s valuable contributions. The workshop reflected NUTECH’s continued commitment to capacity building, applied learning, and the promotion of professional excellence in forensic sciences to support effective law enforcement and criminal justice systems.
