NUSASH Office at the NUTECH successfully organized a seminar titled “Electrochemical Sensors: From Laboratory Innovation to Commercialization” under the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) Project No. 17576, HEC. The seminar reflected NUTECH’s commitment to applied research, innovation, and the promotion of meaningful academia–industry linkages, with a focus on translating laboratory-scale innovations into commercially viable technologies.
Distinguished scholar Dr. Adeel Afzal, Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry and Head of the School of Chemistry at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, shared expert insights on recent advancements and applications of electrochemical sensor technologies. Dr. Ali Turab Jaffery, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, highlighted interdisciplinary approaches and research commercialization pathways.
The seminar provided an interactive platform for faculty members and researchers to engage with leading experts, discuss emerging trends in electrochemical sensing, and explore challenges and opportunities related to industrial deployment and commercialization.
