NUTECH Established its First Character Building Society

The National University of Technology (NUTECH) held a grand Oath-Taking Ceremony for the 2nd NUTECH Student Council (NSC), clubs, societies, and the university’s first-ever Character Building Society. The event was graced by Pro-Rector (P&R) Maj Gen Khurrum HI (M), Retd, alongside student council members, faculty, and students, marking a significant milestone in the university’s history.

The NUTECH Student Council (NSC) serves as the apex body representing students at the institutional level. Its primary aim is to advocate for student interests, ensuring that their voices are heard in university decisions and facilitating communication between students and the administration. The first NSC was formed on March 26, 2024, with all members being appointed. However, in a remarkable achievement, the 2nd NSC was elected through E-elections, promoting fairness, diversity, and inclusion within the university community.

As the chief guest, Pro-Rector (P&R) Maj Gen Khurrum HI (M), took the oath from the representatives of the student council, clubs, societies, and the newly established Character Building Society. In his speech, he congratulated the representatives and emphasized that teamwork and responsibility are essential values for the success of these organizations. He particularly praised the NAB initiative to establish a Character Building Society, which aims to cultivate responsible citizens who will contribute positively to society.

The clubs and societies at NUTECH play a vital role in university life, offering students a platform to develop creativity, leadership, and collaboration. These organizations bring together students from diverse backgrounds, allowing them to enhance their skills beyond academics. By providing these opportunities, NUTECH is dedicated to nurturing both the academic and professional growth of its students.
