NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Center (NEIC) proudly announces that its incubated startup OCRYZ has achieved an outstanding milestone by winning 1st Position at the Innovista Startup League – Regional Round, held on 9th October 2025 at Innovista Rawal, Rawalpindi.The competition brought together top-performing startups from leading universities across Rawalpindi and Islamabad, providing a dynamic platform for student entrepreneurs to pitch their innovative business ideas before a panel of esteemed judges, industry experts, and investors.
Representing National University of Technology (NUTECH), Team OCRYZ impressed the judges with its innovative concept, strong business model, and impactful presentation, earning a cash prize of PKR 100,000 (One Lac) from Innovista. The startup had earlier secured 1st Position at the Campus Round of the Innovista Startup League hosted at NUTECH, where it won a cash prize of PKR 30,000 and advanced to compete at the regional level.
In recognition of this exceptional achievement, the Rector NUTECH, Lt Gen Moazzam Ejaz, HI (M), (Retd), appreciated the efforts of the team and awarded an additional cash prize of PKR 130,000 on behalf of NUTECH as a token of encouragement and pride for their representation at the regional platform.
The collaboration between NEIC and Innovista continues to strengthen NUTECH’s engagement with Pakistan’s startup ecosystem by providing students with access to national platforms, mentorship, and investment opportunities, fostering a culture of innovation and technology-driven entrepreneurship.
