A three-member delegation from Octave Technology Solutions (OTS) visited NUTECH to explore opportunities for strengthening industry-academia collaboration in advanced manufacturing and industrial innovation. The discussions focused on the establishment and collaborative framework of a National Manufacturing Advancement Centre, envisioned as a national hub to modernize Pakistan’s manufacturing sector through advanced digital technologies, entrepreneurship, manufacturing-driven innovation, and the development of globally competitive skills.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on leveraging modern manufacturing technologies, capacity building, applied research and skills development aligned with national industrial priorities. The visit concluded with a mutual understanding to further engage in collaborative initiatives that support technological advancement, innovation, and sustainable growth of Pakistan’s manufacturing sector.
