NUTECH has successfully conducted a one-day workshop on "Program Evaluator (PEV)" aimed at enhancing professional competencies in program evaluation, strengthening the understanding of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and accreditation practices among faculty members.
The workshop commenced with a session by Dr. Abu Bakr, who provided an overview of the OBE system and accreditation preparation in line with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Accreditation Manual 2019. Prof. Dr. Waseem Khaliq led the next two sessions, covering the preparation of Self-Assessment Reports (SAR) based on nine key accreditation criteria, and exploring Curriculum Evaluation Processes (CEP), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Outcome-Based Learning (OEL), and Final Year Design Projects (FYDP) in relation to graduate attributes and knowledge profiles.
Director NUQAD concluded the workshop with an insightful session on mapping Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and graduate attributes as per the Washington Accord. The event concluded with an interactive Question & Answer session, promoting interactive learning and knowledge sharing.
