NUTECH successfully organized a comprehensive Orientation Week to warmly welcome its incoming undergraduates for the academic year 2025–26. This year, NUTECH proudly welcomes over 650 students enrolled in Bachelor of Science (BS) programs, including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology (Civil), Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Information Technology. The comprehensive Orientation Week is designed to facilitate the smooth integration of new students into NUTECH’s academic environment, providing them with the foundational knowledge and resources necessary to excel throughout their academic journey.
Newly enrolled students were introduced to NUTECH’s mission, vision, and core values. The detailed briefings on the academic system, code of conduct, grading policies and extra-curricular opportunities were also given. Heads of Departments presenting overviews of their respective departments, sharing insights about academic programs, and extending a warm welcome to the new students. Integral components of the orientation included document collection, ID card photo sessions, campus visit and interactive discussions with faculty members and senior University officials. These activities were aimed at developing a sense of belonging and ensuring students have direct access to essential resources.
In his keynote address, the Pro-Rector encouraged the new students to embrace innovation, discipline, and lifelong learning as guiding principles throughout their academic journey. He emphasized the University’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded graduates who are prepared to meet the challenges of the future.
From academic counseling and mentorship to health and wellness support, the orientation program ensured that students are well-prepared, informed, and connected from day one at NUTECH.
