Secretary MoST Mr. Sajid Baloch Visits NUTECH Pakistan’s first university for industry to Review State-of-the-Art Facilities

National University of Technology (NUTECH) had the honor of hosting Secretary Ministry of Science & Technology (MoST), Mr. Sajid Baloch, for an official visit to its campus. He was warmly received by Rector NUTECH, Lt. Gen. Moazzam Ejaz HI(M) (Retd), and senior university officials. During his visit, Secretary MoST toured various cutting-edge facilities at NUTECH, including the NUTECH Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (NEIC), Skills Labs, Department of Undergraduate (DoU) Labs, the EU Center of Excellence, and the state-of-the-art university auditorium. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase NUTECH’s commitment to technological advancement, skill development, and academic excellence.

A comprehensive briefing was presented to Secretary MoST, highlighting the university’s innovative research initiatives, its industry-driven academic programs, and contributions to the national technological landscape. He commended NUTECH for its progressive vision and its role in fostering industry-academia collaboration to drive economic and technological growth in Pakistan. Rector NUTECH, Lt. Gen. Moazzam Ejaz HI(M) (Retd), reiterated the university’s dedication to producing a highly skilled workforce equipped with practical knowledge and entrepreneurial skills to meet the challenges of the modern world. He emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships with the Ministry of Science & Technology to further enhance research, innovation, and technology transfer in the country.
