Mr Shahid Iqbal Baloch, Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology, visited NUTECH & Received by Lt Gen Moazzam Ejaz HI(M) Retd, Rector NUTECH, along with senior university leadership. The honorable guest was briefed on NUTECH’s academic mission, research and development projects, and its industry-driven approach to Technical & Skills Education. Mr Shahid Iqbal Baloch, Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology visited several key facilities, including the Mechanical Engineering Labs, NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Center (NEIC), NUTECH Incubation Center (NIC), Computer Engineering Design Labs and NUTECH Skills Department where he observed student projects, advanced equipment, and ongoing innovation activities.
During the visit, Mr. Shahid Iqbal Baloch praised NUTECH’s modern infrastructure, hands-on teaching model, and strong commitment to applied research. He expressed confidence in the university’s efforts to produce a highly skilled technological workforce for Pakistan. He described NUTECH as a promising institution that is contributing significantly to the country’s technological growth and innovation capacity. The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to enhance collaboration between the Ministry of Science and Technology and NUTECH to further strengthen Pakistan’s science, technology, and engineering sectors.
