A three-member delegation from the Sudan Defence Industries Group, comprising Mr. Mamon Ahmed Mohamed, Mr. Abdelhafiz Mohamed Osman, and Mr. Ihab Abdulrazig AbdAllah, visited NUTECH. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on NUTECH’s role as a “University for Industry,” its academic programs, applied research initiatives, industry-driven learning model, international collaborations, and ongoing industrial projects.
Discussion focused on exploring potential avenues for collaborations, identifying areas of mutual interest in technology-driven education, joint research and development initiatives, technology transfer, and advancement in defence industry development and innovation. Later, the delegation also visited advanced technology labs, NUTECH Innovation Center (NIC) and NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC).
The visit laid the foundation for a structured academic - industrial partnership, positioning NUTECH as a potential technical, research, and training partner with the Sudan Defence Industries Group.
