A six-member delegation from the Survey General of Pakistan, headed by Maj Gen Kamal Azfar, visited NUTECH to deliberate on a comprehensive action plan aimed at institutional collaboration between Survey Training Institute (STI) and NUTECH. The discussions focused on STI’s affiliation with NUTECH, applied research, capacity building, and national geospatial innovation. Both sides explored cooperation in software development, joint student projects, joint courses at STI/NUTECH, curriculum alignment for industry-ready graduates, internships for NUTECH students, foreign and domestic collaborations, joint seminars and conferences, and shared library resources. The visit highlighted NUTECH’s commitment to advancing Survey Geo-AI, strengthening academia–industry collaboration, and driving innovation in national geospatial development.
