A landmark Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between NUTECH, Silicon Village (a flagship initiative of Capital Smart City) and Edison Innovation Services (official partner of St John’s Innovation Centre). The MoU was signed by Mr. Salman Zafar, Registrar NUTECH; Mr. Abid Kabir Cheema, CEO Silicon Village; and Mr. Syed Imran, CEO Edison Innovation Services. The agreement establishes a strategic, long-term collaboration to design, develop, operationalize, and globally position the Silicon Village innovation ecosystem as a financially sustainable, globally connected, and high-impact district. NUTECH will provide the technical backbone, including state-of-the-art labs, pilot lines, research facilities, specialized testbeds, technology transfer, venture creation, and executive education, while facilitating strong linkages between startups, industry, and university talent and resources.
