A comprehensive two-day workshop on “Communication and Presentation Skills” was successfully conducted at the FIA Academy, Islamabad, on October 8–9, 2025. The program aimed to enhance the professional communication and presentation abilities of FIA officers through an interactive and practical learning approach.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Faiza Jan Iftikhar, Dr. Muqaddas Inayat, Mr. Zaigham Aizad Malik, Maj Abdul Moeed Rao, and Maj Sikander Mehmood Abbasi. Over 50 officers participated in the sessions, which featured lectures, role-plays, group work, and mock presentations designed to strengthen both verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
During the workshop, participants engaged in a variety of hands-on activities, including simulated press briefings, team-based report writing, and individual presentation practice with live feedback from trainers and peers. The workshop also emphasized the importance of clarity, confidence, and composure while communicating in high-pressure environments.
At the conclusion of the program, participants expressed their great satisfaction and appreciation for the training. Many highlighted that the interactive format and practical exercises significantly boosted their confidence and understanding of effective communication in professional contexts. Officers also shared their eagerness to attend more such workshops, especially those that include hands-on learning and skill-based training as a central component.
The workshop concluded with a wrap-up session, participant feedback, and certificate distribution, followed by words of encouragement from the trainers, appreciating the officers’ enthusiasm and commitment to continuous learning.
