Dr. Raees Ahmed Siddiqui

Assistant Professor (EE)

I am Dr. Raees Ahmed Siddiqui. I received my B.E. degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from the College of EME, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 1995 where I was awarded with Gold Medal for being Best Electronic Student along-with 4 x Gold Medals for first position in each year. I obtained my MS degree in System Engineering with IT applications from Cardiff University UK, in 2004 where I was awarded Best Overall Student Award. I completed my PhD in Systems Engineering from Cardiff University in 2008. My field of specialization is Embedded Systems and Digital Signal Processing for Intelligent Process Monitoring and Management. With over 28 years of experience in both academia and the tech industry, my primary research interests lie in e-Monitoring, cyber and communication security, Embedded Systems, DSP, Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Industrial Automation.

I am passionate about exploring how data-driven models can solve real-world problems, particularly in industry, healthcare and communication. My teaching philosophy centers around providing students with a strong theoretical foundation, while also equipping them with practical skills for the evolving tech landscape. I hold the position of Assistant Professor at the National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad, Pakistan. I am also a lifetime member of the Pakistan Engineering Council and registered as Professional Engineer.
