- FEA lab (ME467L)
An introductory lab focusing on design and simulation concepts using ANSYS.
My research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and mechanical engineering, with a primary focus on fault diagnosis, structural health monitoring, and predictive maintenance of rotating machinery. I develop and apply machine learning and deep learning models, including CNNs, SVMs, and ensemble methods, to analyze vibration, thermal, and composite structural data under varying load and speed conditions. My work emphasizes robust feature extraction using FFT and wavelet techniques, enabling resilient diagnosis even in noisy, real-world environments. I have successfully designed real-time diagnostic frameworks that minimize downtime and enhance industrial reliability. My contributions are reflected in multiple publications, including ongoing work under review in IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation & Measurement, and research funding in the form of full scholarships and project support at GIKI.
