NUTECH Partners with Pakistan Women to Empower Differently Abled Individual

The National University of Technology (NUTECH) has formalized a significant partnership with the Pakistan Women’s Association by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to empower Differently Abled Individuals through specialized courses in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce. This historic collaboration was celebrated at NUTECH Islamabad campus.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including Pro-Rector Skills Maj Gen Raza Ali, Dean of Skills Air Comdr (Retd) Nadeem Khalid, Executive Director of Pakistan Women Ms. Azra, and Country Head of CBM Ms. Fahmeeda, alongside the Differently Abled Individuals who will directly benefit from the partnership.

Dean of Skills Air Comdr (Retd) Nadeem Khalid provided an overview of the Digital Marketing and E-Commerce courses, highlighting the facilities NUTECH has set up to ensure a conducive learning environment. He emphasized that the university is committed to offering opportunities to individuals from all backgrounds to thrive in the digital world.

In his address, Pro-Rector Skills Maj Gen Raza Ali expressed, “NUTECH offers opportunities to every individual to play their imperative role in society. You are the future, and NUTECH provides an inclusive environment to enhance your technical ability and build your confidence in this digital world.”

Ms. Azra, Executive Director of Pakistan Women, praised NUTECH for its commitment to offering opportunities for Differently Abled Individuals, aligning with her organization’s vision of female empowerment. Ms. Fahmeeda, Country Head of CBM, spoke about the importance of the partnership between NUTECH and Pakistan Women and commended NUTECH’s role in establishing community-based, inclusive skill-building programs. Differently, Abled Individuals participate in a three-month course at NUTECH, where they will gain valuable skills in digital marketing, including social media marketing, content creation, online store management, and more. Participants will also learn how to promote their services and products online, create and manage social media campaigns, run Facebook ads, and manage customer services to drive sales using digital marketing tools.

This MoU lays the foundation for ongoing collaboration between NUTECH and Pakistan Women, paving the way for the education and empowerment of Differently Abled Individuals, especially women, in Pakistan. Through this initiative, the partnership aims to enhance practical skill development and foster inclusive education, providing a pathway for Differently Abled Individuals to thrive in the digital economy. The collaboration between NUTECH and Pakistan Women marks a pivotal moment in the educational landscape of Pakistan, creating new opportunities for Differently Abled Individuals to contribute meaningfully to society.
