16th Syndicate Meeting Held at National University of Technology (NUTECH)

The 16th Syndicate Meeting of NUTECH was held to discuss key policy, academic, and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the University’s educational and institutional framework. Eng. Moazzam Ejaz, Rector NUTECH, chaired the proceedings. The NUTECH Syndicate serves as the University’s highest policy and decision-making forum, responsible for setting priorities in education, research, skill development, and training, while guiding academic excellence, institutional growth, and the development of modern educational infrastructure.

During the meeting, the Syndicate approved several important measures, including the establishment of a Verification Section at the Registrar Office and the inclusion of senior female faculty/staff members in the Academic Council and University Syndicate. Members also approved policies for implementation and monitoring of the NUTECH Strategic Plan (NSP) and the Alumni Association of NUTECH (AAN). Additional approvals included revised fee structures for NSDD Skills Courses, International Certification Courses, and Online Courses, HR-related matters, NUTECH’s Sufficiency & Sustainment Plan, establishment of NUTECH Karachi Centre at DHA Karachi, a 5% quota for Overseas Pakistanis, and a Strategic Plan to enhance NUTECH’s global university ranking performance.

The Syndicate Meeting reaffirmed NUTECH’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, skill development, and its vision of becoming a leading technology-driven University at both national and international levels.
