Administrator Brig Muhammad Kashif Naeem accompanied by Heads of Departments visited NUTECH Karachi Center (NKC). The delegation was received by Director NKC Brig Dr. Atif Ali (Retd) and staff. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the history, achievements, and future development plans of NUTECH, with particular emphasis on ongoing collaborative initiatives between NKC and DCK. He also visited of academic laboratories and interacted with students.
Appreciating the progress made by NKC, Brig Kashif announced a grant of PKR 1 million for institutional development and approved the repair of the solar inverter system. He also directed enhancement of EV transportation services through increased routes and frequency.
To strengthen academia-industry linkages, he announced employment opportunities at DCK for the top three graduating students, internship placements, and engagement of DCK professionals as guest speakers. Additionally, he directed that preference be given to NKC-qualified candidates in relevant recruitment advertisements and tasked the Director Education to arrange enrolment of 25 students in a designated training course.
Reaffirming DCK’s commitment to the partnership, Administrator DCK directed all concerned departments to extend full support towards NKC’s continued growth and development.
