A high-level delegation comprising Secretary Information Technology, Secretary E&S, Secretary TEVTA and Additional Secretary Higher Education visited NUTECH to discuss a draft collaboration proposal aimed at strengthening skills development and industry-oriented education.
The delegation was briefed on NUTECH’s distinctive role as a “University for Industry,” emphasizing its academic programs, applied research initiatives, industry-driven learning model, and national and international partnerships that support skill-based education aligned with emerging industrial requirements. During the visit, the delegation held detailed discussions with NUTECH on potential areas of cooperation focused on enhancing technical education, workforce development, and industry engagement.
Later, the delegation visited NUTECH’s state-of-the-art laboratories, NUTECH’s Skills and Development Department (NSDD), the NUTECH Innovation Center (NIC), and the NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC).
