NUTECH hosted an eight-member delegation from BMZ/GIZ to review the ongoing Industrial Automation Training Program and observe the National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) meeting, being conducted jointly by NUTECH, GIZ, and the National Training Commission (NTC).
The delegation was received by the Rector of NUTECH, who welcomed the distinguished guests and expressed appreciation for the partnership between NUTECH and GIZ. He acknowledged GIZ's valuable support in strengthening Pakistan's education and TVET sectors and reaffirmed NUTECH's commitment to expanding this strategic collaboration to develop a skilled and industry-ready workforce.
During the visit, the delegation observed the Industrial Automation Training Program, interacted with trainees and instructors, and witnessed the NCRC proceedings, where they were briefed on the revision of four Level-6 Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BET) curricula. The delegation also visited NUTECH's state-of-the-art skills laboratories and the NUTECH Entrepreneurship and Incubation Centre (NEIC), appreciating the University's modern training facilities and strong focus on industry-driven education.
The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of BMZ/GIZ, NUTECH, and NTC to strengthening Pakistan's education and TVET sectors through continued collaboration, curriculum development, and capacity building.
