NUTECH celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with national pride and fervor, while also commemorating 75 years of enduring Pakistan-China friendship. The ceremony reflected the University’s commitment to celebrating Pakistan’s national identity while promoting cultural harmony and strengthening people-to-people ties between Pakistan and China. The event brought together faculty, staff, students and distinguished guests from China to celebrate Pakistan’s journey as a nation and pay tribute to the historic relationship between Pakistan and China.
The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flags of Pakistan and China, followed by the national anthems, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and solidarity. The program featured a “Watan Ki Awaaz” poetry segment and inspiring patriotic songs that paid tribute to the sacrifices and achievements of the nation. A special Chinese musical performance by Mr. Max Ma added a cultural dimension to the celebrations, while an impressive Kung Fu performance captivated the audience. A specially prepared documentary highlighting the history and strength of Pak-China friendship was also screened, followed by a vibrant medley performance.
The ceremony concluded with cake cutting and remarks by Rector NUTECH, Lt Gen Moazaam Ejaz, HI(M) (Retd), who appreciated the enduring bonds between Pakistan and China . Through this memorable occasion, NUTECH reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating Pakistan’s national spirit and honoring the enduring Pakistan-China partnership, a bond that continues to flourish through mutual trust, shared aspirations and strong people-to-people ties.
