CEO TANG Mr. Song visited NUTECH Karachi Center (NKC), where he was warmly welcomed by Dr. Atif Ali, Director NKC/DOR. He was briefed about NKC short courses programs, progress and future plans. During the visit, Mr. Song reviewed the Center’s academic and technical initiatives and expressed particular interest in the Solar Technology program. He assured the provision of essential equipment, training aids, and other resources to strengthen practical, hands-on technical education. He also approved the introduction of DAE programs at NKC and emphasized the development of industry-focused short courses aligned with Karachi’s strategic sectors, including shipping, port management, fisheries, customs, and related industries.

Mr. Song further expressed his intention to engage BYD for potential collaboration and directed NUTECH to explore cooperation with Mega Motors/Hubco for establishing an Electric Vehicle (EV) Laboratory at NKC. He also emphasized Chinese language and technical programs to enhance industry linkages and employment opportunities for youth.
