NUTECH Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Departments, in collaboration with GIZ, successfully organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop from July 20 to 22, 2026, for faculty members of DAE and Engineering Technology. Designed to strengthen industry-academia linkages, the workshop featured dual-track, lab-based modules in Industrial Automation and ICE / Hybrid Engine Technology. Conducted at the Project Design Lab, the Industrial Automation track provided intensive, hands-on training in PLC programming, sensors and actuators, SCADA/HMI integration, industrial networking, and automation troubleshooting. Meanwhile, the ICE & Hybrid Engine module, held at the Mechanical Engine Parts Manufacturing Lab, focused on internal combustion engine teardown and diagnostics, hybrid powertrain architecture and battery-motor integration, precision machining, emissions and fuel-efficiency systems, and hybrid vehicle safety and maintenance protocols.

Delivered through a Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) framework, the workshop equipped participants with practical, industry-relevant competencies, reinforcing NUTECH's commitment to producing skilled educators capable of delivering high-quality, technology-driven engineering education aligned with evolving industrial requirements.
