Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq, VC KIU, visited NUTECH to strengthen institutional linkages and explore new avenues for academic, technical, and industry-oriented collaboration. During the visit, the KIU delegation received a comprehensive briefing on NUTECH’s distinctive role as a “University for Industry”, highlighting its innovative academic programs, applied research, national and international partnerships, skills and vocational education ecosystem, and industry-driven learning model.
A detailed discussion was held to develop a roadmap for future collaboration. Key areas included establishing a Joint Skills Center, offering joint skills courses and certifications, exchanging curricula, developing customized skills courses & training programs, and organizing joint seminars and industry-engagement activities.
The visit provided a valuable platform for both institutions to identify practical areas of mutual interest and developing meaningful collaboration aimed at advancing skills development, innovation, employability, and stronger academia-industry linkages.
