The National University of Technology (NUTECH), through its Professional Development Center (PDC), organized a two-day training workshop on “Management Accounting and Budgeting Forecasting” at the Margalla Training Institute, Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), on March 30–31, 2026.
The initiative reflects PDC’s vision to emerge as a leading provider of industry-driven and impact-oriented training solutions aimed at enhancing institutional performance and human capital development.
The workshop was attended by 25 participants, including both uniformed and civilian officials. It marks a continuation of ongoing collaboration between NUTECH and HIT, following a previously conducted training on “Time Management Skills” in October 2025. Another training program on “Total Quality Management” is also scheduled for April 29–30, 2026.
The session was conducted by Mr. Syed Hassan Abbas, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in management accounting and corporate advisory, holding ACMA and LCIS qualifications.
The training focused on strengthening participants’ competencies in financial planning, budgeting, and effective resource utilization. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, participants were equipped with tools to improve organizational efficiency, enhance coordination, and adopt modern financial management practices.
Participants expressed strong appreciation for the relevance, practical orientation, and interactive delivery of the training. The workshop received overwhelmingly, positive feedback.
