NUTECH and PKCERT have signed a MoU to establish a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s cybersecurity ecosystem through education, research, innovation, and professional development. The collaboration will facilitate advanced cybersecurity training, workshops, seminars, and awareness programs designed to enhance technical expertise and promote cyber awareness among students and professionals. Both institutions will jointly organize cybersecurity hackathons covering offensive and defensive security domains to encourage innovation and practical skill development. The partnership will also focus on industry-relevant cybersecurity research aligned with national requirements, including support for Final Year Projects and potential sponsorship opportunities. PKCERT will facilitate internships, job placement support, and short-term engagement programs for NUTECH students to provide exposure to real-world cyber threats, incident response mechanisms, and evolving digital security challenges. The partnership further focuses on industry-relevant research, internships, and student engagement opportunities to prepare skilled cybersecurity professionals.
