A three-member distinguished delegation from the Aga Khan University (AKU), Karachi, visited the National University of Technology (NUTECH) to explore avenues of collaboration in skills development and emerging technologies. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on NUTECH’s vision, academic programs, international collaborations and its role as the “University for Industry”. The delegation appreciated and congratulated the NUTECH team for its remarkable contributions toward promoting technology-driven education and research excellence in Pakistan.
The discussion focused on initiating joint research programs, training opportunities, and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at developing innovative solutions to national challenges in healthcare and technology. The visit concluded with a mutual commitment to strengthen cooperation for advancing Pakistan’s capacity in different technology programs. Later, the delegation visited skills/technology labs, E-Commerce Centre of Excellence and the NUTECH Entrepreneur and Incubation Centre (NEIC)
NUTECH reaffirmed its commitment to developing strategic partnerships with prestigious institutions, such as the Aga Khan University, in line with its mission to produce skilled graduates and contribute effectively to Pakistan’s scientific and technological progress.
