Orientation Week Marks the Commencement of Academic Year 2026 at National University of Technology (NUTECH)

NUTECH successfully organized an comprehensive Orientation Week to warmly welcome its incoming undergraduates batch of year 2026. This year, NUTECH proudly welcomes new students enrolled in Bachelor of Science (BS) programs, including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology (Civil), Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Information Technology. Students enrolled in the Sino-Pak (2+1) Dual Diploma Program for Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) were also warmly welcomed as part of the new student community.

This Orientation Week was designed to facilitate the smooth integration of new students into NUTECH’s academic environment, providing them with the foundational knowledge and resources necessary to excel throughout their academic journey. Registrar NUTECH comprehensively briefed students and their parents about University’s functioning, administration, organizational structure, achievements and expected code of conduct for students. Heads of Departments presenting overviews of their respective departments, sharing insights about academic programs, and extending a warm welcome to the new students. Integral components of the orientation included document collection, ID card photo sessions, campus visit and interactive discussions with faculty members and senior University officials.

In his keynote address, the Pro-Rector (P&R) encouraged the new students to embrace innovation, discipline, and lifelong learning as guiding principles throughout their academic journey. He emphasized the University’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded graduates who are prepared to meet the challenges of the future.

The Orientation Week also highlighted NUTECH’s holistic approach to student development. From academic counseling, mentorship, and faculty engagement to health and wellness support, the program ensured that students were well-informed, prepared, and connected from their very first day at the University. Through this comprehensive orientation initiative, NUTECH reaffirmed its commitment to providing its students with a supportive, innovative, and student-centered academic environment, laying a strong foundation for their success throughout their university experience.
